Just a reminder, if you’ve been targeted, laid off or forced to resign because your work—or your very nature—is a threat and obstacle to rote, normative or extraordinary oppression, subordination, discrimination or violence: you were right, they never deserved you and countless harms and undoings have been prevented via your very existence. It is a divine calling to be a living impeachment of false testimony, feigned logics, and forged facts that serve to affirm the truth of the matter of asserted, the tall tales of injustice as necessary, compulsory and inevitable. Do not forget that. Do not forget the things they cannot steal, no matter the narratives they spin. Do not forget the liberatory ways of being you modeled, midwifed and made way for that will exist beyond you and those who would see you disposed of, dispossessed or dead. Don’t forget how you have fed generations of the free folks, the elders here now, your contemporaries bearing witness then, and the children who come next. Don’t you forget. Don’t you dare forget. Don’t you entertain a memory for forgetting how you’ve become and been the remnants of free folks unimpressed by chains, the inheritance of those who dare to dream of a world without gratuitous violence, and a living testimony and evidence to possibilities, of things, unseen but nevertheless possible.
Don’t you dare, not merely because you and your you, and your truth are needed—no, that is too laced with saviorism—but because enabling this a type of theft is a capital offense that effects, affects and infects generations. You are a constellation of dignity; it is not in your nature to deny others the way to, or the knowledge of, cosmic reconciliations that are agrammatical to the current social order of humans.
"You are a constellation dignity; it is not in your nature to deny others the way to, or the knowledge of, cosmic reconciliations that are agrammatical to the current social order of humans."
This ending is gorgeous!
